Project Lilac is committed to helping survivors of domestic violence have a fresh start with linens - to have a safe sleep!
Similar to Bombas socks, where colorful socks are sold to fund black socks given to the homeless...
Project Lilac will never sell lilac sheets...we give them away!
Our social justice mission is about giving back to domestic violence survivors - to create a safe sleep!
Partnership with Joe Torre's Safe at Home Foundation – Beginning in 2022, we have started to count every CLEAN DESIGN HOME® x Martex purchase and made a commensurate donation of a lilac sheet item.
Project Lilac acknowledges the color is used for DV awareness and we want to help create a safe sleep for those who enter safe house situations. Similar to Bombas socks which gives away black socks to homeless, we will never sell lilac sheets.
Instead we give lilac sheets to the survivors of domestic violence, who often flee their situations with only the clothing on their back. They will OWN these linens and have something to furnish their new 'safe space' and they can take the first steps to rebuilding their life.
